Our aim is to empower individuals to bring their best selves to work, with enhanced engagement, motivation and resilience.
"The lessons I’ve learned and the positive habits I have developed I think will be with me for a long time."
Sarah Mayes, Unilever Global R&D
Research shows us that enhanced wellbeing builds our capacity for ‘effort’ & reduces the demand of mental & physical tasks. Indeed, reduced demand or ‘strain’ is associated with greater cognitive function (e.g. attention, focus, flexibility, problem solving). While many people are aware of the factors that influence their wellbeing, from nutrition to physical activity, few recognise the importance of optimising their energy for high performance work.
This talk explores what it takes to be the best in today’s workplace. It provides a foundation for behaviour change, and identification of ‘energisers’ that boost wellbeing, connectedness and performance with particular focus on the demands of high-performance working.
Physical and mental capacity is underpinned by our ability to rest and recover. In fact, our body has an amazing internal ability to heal itself from stress and create resilience. We empower individuals to trust themselves to handle life challenges.
With an emphasis on behavioural change strategies and physiological evidence from our client's stress and recovery date we motivate individuals to make the small changes needed for maximal results.
This talk will challenge individuals' perception of stress, rest and recovery to build energy and resilience for sustained wellbeing.
By the end of the session, individuals will have strategies to optimise your restorative recovery throughout the working day and enhance cognitive power.
