what is burnout?

 Burnout is a term that describes the state of feeling exhausted, overwhelmed, or disengaged from work or other activities due to prolonged stress or frustration. Every client I've worked with has a unique experience and cause of burnout but some common symptoms include:

  • Feeling tired, drained, or depleted
  • Losing interest or motivation in what you do
  • Feeling cynical, detached, or indifferent
  • Having difficulty concentrating or performing tasks
  • Experiencing physical or emotional health problems
  • Feeling dissatisfied or unfulfilled


Burnout can affect anyone who faces high demands, low control, or insufficient support in their work or personal life. Some factors that can contribute to burnout are:

  • Having unrealistic or unclear expectations
  • Working long hours or having too much workload
  • Lacking autonomy or feedback
  • Facing conflict or harassment
  • Having poor work-life balance
  • Having personal or family issues


Burnout can have negative consequences for your wellbeing, productivity, and relationships. Therefore, it is important to recognize the signs of burnout and take steps to prevent or cope with it. Working with me you'll gain a clear path to better health and balance in your life.
